Digital Art

What exactly is digital art? I have recieved emails asking

me this so many times so I thought I would try to explain

briefly here what it consists of. Digital art is done completely

on the computer. There are many fine and expensive art

programs that are used for this specific type of art. At times

the mouse alone is used to draw/paint with. Insertions of

images after they are created and are put through many filters

that are in the art programs as plugins is a very interesting

technique. It is an amazing artform that allows

for many possibilities and originality. I  have recently discovered the art of

fractal imaging. The software is quite difficult to learn. It is very time comsuming

 but also  is very relaxing for me.

The software depends on numeric codes and geometrics.  I am enjoying the program

so much and I am learning more every day.
